Welcome to the Sequoia Road Riders. We are a chapter of GWRRA located in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley in the City of Tulare. We have members from Tulare, Kings, Kern, and Fresno Counties. Tulare is just south of Visalia and about 65 miles from Bakersfield. We are a chapter of the California District of GWRRA.
We have a monthly gathering the fourth Saturday of the month at Salle’s Café, 2082 N J Street in Tulare where we gather together for breakfast and socializing at 8:00 am, updating on what we have planned at 9:00 am and then around 10:00 am we jump on our bikes for a riding adventure. Our rides seem to always end up some place we can eat (even if it is just ice cream or dessert of some kind).
We have other longer trips, one day rides and sometimes over-nighters, throughout the month. Be sure to check our Chapter Rides and Events for an up-to-date schedule.
On the second Wednesday of the month we meet at a member’s home for a planning meeting and business meeting. Dinner is at 6:00 pm. We normally have dessert while we do our planning. All are welcome to both our gathering and our planning/business meetings.
The Gold Wing Road Riders Association (GWRRA) is the world's largest single-marquee social organization for owners and riders of Honda Gold Wing/Valkyrie motorcycles -- and some would say, the world's largest family. Dedicated to our motto, Friends for Fun, Safety and Knowledge, GWRRA members enjoy the freedom of belonging to a non-profit, non-religious and non-political organization.
Founded in 1977, GWRRA has grown to more than 75,000 U.S., Canadian and international members in 53 foreign countries. Over 850 active Chapters are managed by volunteer leaders working with members to foster safe, enjoyable riding while also working to improve the public image of motorcycling.
Once you join GWRRA, you can participate with as many Chapters as you choose. You decide your own level of involvement. GWRRA membership opens doors to friendship everywhere you ride! Monthly Chapter get-togethers (often light-hearted exchanges of information at a breakfast location) are pleasant, social occasions. There are no expectations, riding requirements, elections, politics, required uniforms or Chapter dues.
GWRRA members enjoy the freedom of belonging to a non-profit, non-religious and non-political organization.
